lyrics
Blurred appearance
In the house of mirrors
Where lights don't go out
To mislead the trail
We're laughing right in his face
In order to tame the fear of the enemy
Which we've met
And he's us
But...
Once naked, we shouldn't waste time for a decency
Shameless we are
Until we're stuck and we’re back again
Into the safe, warm shell
Among this caleidoscopic hell
Which points the finger at us
Stand, watch senselessly
Stand, wait, pass the pain
Stand still, hold on
Patiently
As the sea freezes
“The last glimpse of summer before the atomic winter has captured this ethereal moment of procreation of the last known freedom. The absolute deconstruction of god concepts and the hope of recycling the species; expressed by frigid mothers sucking the nipples of the trampled dwarfs - those happy ignorants looking out the light from between the knees of stilt walkers - walking still straight, but already blinded by the newborn Sun that turned out to be not just a gossip.
Am I talking to you too late?
I know I come from far away
Too late...
I... I've seen it before
Fire changes everything
Everything...
Even death"
Gaerea's first release of "Unsettling Whispers" was in 2018, and since, they dared define a "black metal" niche of their own, they dared to walk a new path and stir shit up a bit in the realm of BM, this album is a masterpiece and a milestone proving that it can be done, provided the band can pull it off, and they did, oh they did! Gloomy, dark, post-BM sludgy whatever, it's Gaerea, and this one belongs in my BC collection, the end. sachavonkarl74
