Thanks for leeding me here, Ippocalyptica. This is indeed compareable to Marthyrium's 2023 masterpiece in terms of relentlessness and intensity. The guitars are sharp enough to cut through diamonds. The dissonance and the melodies are perfectly woven together with the fierce, unmistakingly French vocals. Since this is 8 years old, a follow-up would be greatly apprechiated. mourner
Gaerea's first release of "Unsettling Whispers" was in 2018, and since, they dared define a "black metal" niche of their own, they dared to walk a new path and stir shit up a bit in the realm of BM, this album is a masterpiece and a milestone proving that it can be done, provided the band can pull it off, and they did, oh they did! Gloomy, dark, post-BM sludgy whatever, it's Gaerea, and this one belongs in my BC collection, the end. sachavonkarl74
Литоургиiа réussit l'impensable : faire entrer le black metal dans l'église orthodoxe.
Probably one of the fastest purchases I've ever made from the initial click of the play button. The multifaceted layering of the songs are brilliant and progresses from the recesses of it's violence to the psychoactive planes that it evokes. If it's one thing that the Polish are good at when producing metal is that they do it in style. Daniel Brown
