lyrics
Swarm of the unconscious
is shifting in time
these unaware
of the void and the woe
the gap is the space
where all the pieces fit
immaculate death invincible is
as into the condemnation do we
as into the blasphemy do we
Inviting the chasm
to our leaky hearts
Now we are the bleeding
Wait, I will stay,
Let my dream live long
inhale the abyss
spread ourselves
like wonders.
illusion kissed me.
low type saint
married me.
Lured me
with green veins,
the golden eyelids.
With mud blackened hands
he broke my spine
and fed the brutes
with my blood.
Harsh, dissonant, frightening and even a little bit unnerving. All this can be said about Void Masquerading as Matter - but it is also complex, immersive (if you are not repelled), fascinating and rousing (in the sense of: dragging you into the abyss). How ever you describe the music of Thantifaxath for yourself it's clear what this music is not: conventional and boring. Go ahead, dare to make the trip. The reward is there. mourner
PSA: if there was an album you heard a couple years ago and thought it was ok, listen to it again and you might love it.
That's what happened to me with this album. I cannot fathom why it didn't stick with me back then. Same thing happened with Decoherence's Unitarity for that matter. Matten
I listened the shit out of these guys' demo like 10 years ago and then forgot about it. Nice to know they're still in business. I don't tend to like slow stuff, but I do like this for whatever reason. grahamy
